“Fabulous Palo Verde Boat Tour” Reviewed 6 April 2016 We were staying at Secrets Papagayo and booked our private tour at Tide Water's tour booth, on the beach. Henry picked us up at 1:30 and the drive was about 1 hour 20 minutes. Henry was a terrific guide and explained a great deal about the area as we were driving. When we got to the park it was a short walk to the river where Cesar, our captain, was waiting for us in the boat. The river was at low tide so we saw a lot of crocodiles, birds, bats and lizards. Then Cesar found the white faced monkeys and they even came into the boat! I am a hobby photographer and have so many fabulous close up photos of these animals...it was incredible! I was about 2' from a 12' croc! If you are a photographer, my recommendation would be to book a private tour as the boats are not large and tend to move quite a bit. If the boat would have been full of people I would not have been able to take the pics I did. It was a great experience and I would definitely use this tour company again.

“Great Customer Service at Tide Water Adventure” Reviewed 3 March 2016 Henri really went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 15 during our stay in the Tamarindo area. First a "guys trip" out to Rincon de la Vieja for some fun kayaking and an very cool and unexpected tour through the side streets of Liberia. All our teens had an awesome time on the second tour up to the Cortez waterfall. Zip lining, seeing rainforest wildlife and the hot springs were the favourites. Henri and Manuel picked everyone up promptly in the their new tourism van with a cooler stocked with water and iced tea, and chatted continuously to our destination about Canada and Costa Rica. Overall a great time had by all, and a fun and professional tour operator. Thanks again guys!

“Great tour and tour guide!” Reviewed 19 February 2016We were staying at Secrets Papagayo and we booked a tour with Tide Water from their booth at the beach at our resort. We booked a private tour, just the two of us with our guide Henry Zuniga to Las Hornillas Volcanic Hot Springs. Henry was very welcoming and was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and all the country has to offer. We left the resort at 715am in a tour van, stopped shortly in Liberia for drinks at the grocery store and continued on into the rainforest. Henry was sure to tell us about the history, landmarks and wildlife that we saw along the way. Our first stop was a short hike over a suspension bridge to a beautiful waterfall. It was a little windy, cooler and wet in the rainforest, bring bug spray. Then we got back in the van and went to the Volcanic Activity Center. That is where we walked along looking at the hot springs and smelling sulphur. We then went into the volcanic sauna and gave ourselves a natural mud bath here as well. Then we were able to shower off and get into the hot springs.

“Fun time with Henri Zuniga” Reviewed 4 February 2016 Met Henri on the beach the first day we got to our hotel "Secrets Papagayo Resort. We stayed from Jan 9-23, 2016. Found out he lives 1 hour from where we live!!! Couldn't believe it!!! So we booked two tours with him, his wife Line and friend Loretta. We went on a day trip to Tamarindo (busy, lots to do and see, long beach), playa Cochal (tried to snorkel but surf was too rough), Playa flamingo and Playa Coco. Henri stopped when we wanted to stop, talked about his country, was very informative and helpful with what else to see and do. We booked a sunset snorkel tour on the catamaran from playa coco through Henri as well-Henri picked us up at our resort, took us to the drop off point, helped us purchase the tickets and was there when we got back to take us back to our hotel. I would definetly hire Henri and his staff again. :) Pura vida Henri!

“Tide Water Adventures is fantastic!” Reviewed 9 January 2016 Henry is fantastic! He offers a tremendous amount of wide ranging information regarding all aspects of Costa Rica and the specific tour sites! He is very personable and considerate. We were travelling with teenagers who have food allergies and seniors who have mobility issues; he was able to provide assistance and information throughout all three of our tours, in order to create safe and enjoyable experiences for all of our family members. He has a beautiful new and very comfortable van driven by his expert driver Manuel, who we also enjoyed very much! Thank you Tide Water Adventures for adding to our wonderful trip to Costa Rica.Visited December 2015.
